Most modern weight-loss programs focus on calories and dietary fat, eating less food and doing more exercise, literally punishing ourselves for the extra weight. What if there was a different way to lose weight with the help of Ancient sciences?

Nima’s “Radiant Body” weight management system gets to the root of the problem by eliminating the toxic build up from your tissues, balancing fat and carbohydrate metabolism to break down your stores of fat, so you’ll have more energy; slow down the digestion of carbohydrates, so you don’t crave sweets and overeat; and empower the digestion and absorption of nutrients.

If your body has poor digestion and assimilation, you may eat a lot of food but not get the important minerals, vitamins and other nutrients you need. Your body knows it requires these substances to operate effectively and stimulates more hunger in an attempt to get them.

Most common type of overweight imbalance is due to a lack of digestive fire, weak metabolism and build up toxic waste materials in the body. These individuals, even though they may eat very small amounts of food, tend to gain weight. Strategies to increase your digestive power and thus your metabolism:

  • Sip hot water or hot herbal tea throughout the day. (equal parts of Cumin, Coriander, Fennel)
  • Drink fresh ginger tea 2 times a day
  • Eat grated fresh ginger root mixed with some lemon juice and salt, a few minutes before or after meal.
  • Barley water or kanji water is recommended during the day to help cleanse the system, give energy, and help with hunger.
  • Avoid cold beverages, aged cheese, potatoes, yeasted breads, butter, cookies, cakes, ice cream, chocolates, deep fried foods, and cream sauces and reduce your intake of rice.
  • For breakfast, eat stewed apples and/or pears.
  • Do not skip meals.
  • Eat your largest meal at lunch and have a smaller dinner eaten before 7 p.m. Do not eat anything after 8 p.m.
